African Blue

Historical

A Blueberry is a fruit with flat round shape, its colour varies from violet blue to dark blue, its size range from 5mm to 2 cm and weights 2 to 5 grams.

The scientific name of the Blueberry is Vaccinium. Different wild species of this berry can be found in America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Historically, they were commercially grown in North America and progressed into the Southern Hemisphere in countries like Australia, Argentina or Chile.

In order to respond to an ever increasing Global demand, new growing regions are starting to emerge. Amongst them is Morocco, where African Blue provides a unique harvest period. We are able to supply when there is low availability around the world.
